Perry Dewayne Walker- of Corryton, TN. Born July 4, 1939 to Andy and Cora Walker. Passed away April 8, 2014 at 9:10 a.m. Retired from Department of Transportation and land surveying business. Dewayne was a family man, loved by all who knew him. Great husband, father and grandfather. He loved gardening and giving to the neighbors. Preceded in death by parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen and Stella Walker, James Houlk Walker; sister, Virgie Gabriel; sister-in-law, Gladys Walker; brothers-in-law, Richard Gabriel, Floyd Brantley, Jake Dennis, Archie Emory, Arvil Nelson, Hurless Henegar, Lowell Rutherford; nephews, Eddie Walker, Ronnie Brantley, J.A. Dennis, Steve Rutherford; niece, Martha Nelson. Left to cherish his memory, wife of 54 years, Irene Walker; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Chris Rudd and Kristi and Danny Shropshire; granddaughters, Sonya Dixon and Danielle Rudd; grandsons, Wesley and Grant Shropshire; great grandchildren, Dillion Anglin, McKenzie Harrell, Wyatt and Canaan Shropshire; brother, Earl Walker; sisters, Cecilia Brantley, Ethel Dennis, Pauline Emory, Joan Ashburn, Irene Nelson, Zola May Henegar. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Betty Rutherford; sister-in-law, Carol Rutherford Welch. Family and friends will meet 2:00 pm, Friday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel to precede to Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service at 2:30 pm, with Rev. J.T. Russell officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
