Penny Sherrod Cole

Penny Sherrod Cole, age 65, of Maryville formally of Blaine, went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2023. Penny enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Penny was a CNA for 33 years. She loved caring for people. She is preceded in death by mother, Thelma Sherrod. She is survived by her father Jack (Loretta) Sherrod, her loving other half of 20 years, Keith Russell, daughter Margaret Cole, Melissa (Max) Boring, son, Keith Russell Jr., granddaughter Kaylie (Hunter) Boggs, grandchildren; Allison Russell, Jayda Russell, and Robert Boring, great grandbabies; McKinley and Maci Boggs, brother Phil (Jennifer) Sherrod, sister Pam Stalsworth (Donnie Kitts). Special friends Fred (Kathy) Cole and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home Ft. City Monday, February 27, 2023 with receiving of friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm with a 7:00 pm service to follow officiated by Will Cate.
