Peggy Weisgarber Ray
March 20, 1932 — February 10, 2016
Peggy Weisgarber Ray, age 83 of Knoxville passed away February 10, 2016. She was a longtime member Smithwood Baptist Church and retired from Knox County School Systems. Preceded in death by first husband, Fred D. Weisgarber; second husband John F. Ray; parents Clarence and Elizabeth Edens; brother William Edens. Survived by children Pam Morgan and husband Gary, Fred Weisgarber, Penny Hutton (Randy), Daniel Weisgarber; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister Carolyn Stansberry; several nieces and nephews. Service will be 8pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Dr. Glenn Sullivan officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45pm Friday at Greenwood Cemetery for 1pm interment. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Thursday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
