Peggy Parks Hughes, of Knoxville, passed away January 8, 2018. She was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church since 1955. Preceded in death by husband Billy S. Hughes; parents Floyd and Joyce Parks; son William Allen Hughes; sisters Yvonne Burch and Carolyn Meredieth. Survived by son Stephen R. Hughes and wife Debra; grandchildren Rebecca K. Hughes and David R. Hughes and wife Kaci; grandson Hayden J. Hughes; sister Kay P. Cooper; niece and nephews; special friends Raquel Hughes and Janet Parkinson. Family will receive friends Thursday 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow at 8:00p.m. Family and friends will meet 10:45a.m. Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for 11:00a.m. interment.
