Peggy Mikels

Peggy A. Mikels, age 78, of Knoxville passed away August 22, 2016. She was of the Baptist Faith. Peggy was preceded in death by husband Jim R. Mikels, Sr. and parents James and Celia Dykes. Survivors include children Jimmy R. Jr. and Sheila Mikels, Lisa and James Skiles, Tony and Julie Mikels, and Susan and Greg Johnson, grandchildren Heath Mikels, Kris Mikels, Sarah M. Harrington, Nichole Skiles, Jillian Foster, Jahna Mikels, Lake Johnson, Ansley Johnson, Kuepper Mikels, Mckenna Mikels, and Ari Mikels, and great grandchildren Kenzley Raschke, Knox Raschke, Little Jack Harrington, and Kennedy Foster. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Knoxville. Family and friends will meet 12:45 pm Saturday at Edgewood Cemetery for graveside services at 1 pm. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
