Peggy Joyce Dunsmore

Peggy J. Dunsmore, age 70. (Born May 2, 1945) went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 24 at Tennova North Hospital. Preceded in death by loving husband Rev. Glen Dunsmore; Parents, Clyde and Purlia Chesney; Infant sister, Betty; brother, Elmer. Peggy was loved and cherished by so many. Although she never had children of her own, she was a mother to many. Peggy had a special love for everyone she met, especially children who all grew up to be "hers". She served God her entire life. "Well done my good and faithful servant." (Matt 25:21) Survived by siblings; brother and sister in law; Charlie and Shirley Chesney, Sister; Mattie Russell, Sister and Brother in law, Barbara and Fred Wallace. Special brothers in law James Dunsmore and Bob Dunsmore. Numerous brothers and sisters in law to many to name but each one loved by her. Special niece Lisa Denny and husband Bill; Many nieces and nephews - too many to name but each one loved by her. Special great nephew Caiden Denny. Many Great nieces and nephews- too many to name but each one loved by her. Pall bearers Nephews and Great Nephews. Services will be 8pm Tuesday Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Rev. Tyler Cunninghamm Rev. Dallas Harrell, and Rev. Kevin Roberts officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Halls Chapel by 10:30am Wednesday and proceed to Emory Pike American Christian Church Cemetery for interment. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
