Peggy Jo Dyer

May 20, 1940 — December 20, 2014

Peggy Jo Dyer, age 74, of Knoxville passed away 12-20-14. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife and mother, she loved her children very much as well as her grandson and great-grandchildren, she helped with those who were sick when she was able. She was preceded in death by parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Knight. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Jack Dyer, children; son Michael and wife Kim Dyer, daughter Sheila Brewer and husband Rev. Tony, grandson Wesley and Brittany Brewer, great-grandchildren Addison, Avery, and Brody Brewer, sister Jean Burchum Rossville, GA. Along with several nieces and nephews. Special Thanks to Dr. John Blake and nurse Terry for their outstanding care and also thanks to Smoky Mountain Hospice for their love and care especially her nurses. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Lung Association. Family will receive friends from 6:30- 8pm Monday. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am Tuesday at Caldonia Cemetery for an 11am Graveside Service with Rev. Mark Kitts & Tony Brewer Officiating.
