Peggy Elizabeth Hopson Davis

Peggy E. Hopson Davis, age 75, passed away at her home on Friday, December 18, 2015. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by parents Theodore and Orpah Hopson; her late husband Raymond Davis; siblings Samuel Hopson, Ronnie Hopson and Carolyn McBee. She is survived by her children Steve and Pat Kidwell and Robin Kidwell, all from Knoxville; siblings Jean Danley from San Diego, California, Marjorie White from Atlanta, Georgia, Danny and Joy Hopson from Chattanooga, Tennessee and Daryl Hopson from Knoxville; grandchildren Alan and Ashley Kidwell, Jeff and Kayla Warren, RT Kidwell and Tosha and Bryan Page all from Knoxville, and Cheyenne and Candice Kidwell from Luttrell; great grandchildren Madilyne Kidwell, Tyler and Zade Simonds, Natilee and Jacob Warren and Mason Page; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 8:00pm, Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 10:45am, Wednesday, at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 11:00am. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
