Pauline "Polly" Baker

Pauline “Polly” A. Baker, age 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14th, 2017 at Beverly Park Place Health and Rehab. Polly was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church and was retired from Millers Department Store. After retirement, she was a member of the St. Mary’s Hospital Adult Auxiliary Volunteer Program for many years. She was a past board member of the Mynatt Cemetery Association of Halls as well as a past member of the Osolli Circle. Polly is preceded in death by her parents Edward G. and Pearl Susanne (Mynatt) Aldridge; sister Dorothy Williams; brothers Ernest, Ralph, and John Aldridge. She is survived by her sister-in-law Ruth Aldridge; nieces Marsha Williams, Susan Laugherty, Jacque Householder, Martha Lichtenberg, Pauline Webb; nephews James, Edward, John Aldridge and many grand and great nieces and nephews. She was blessed with many loving and supportive friends who meant so much to her. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Dr. James “Jim” McCluskey will be officiating.
