Paul Terry Shepherd, Jr., 40, of Knoxville, passed away on June 29, 2014. He was born on June 23, 1974 in Hammond, IN. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Beverley Shepherd, his three children: Aleah, Sage, and Cloey. He is also survived by his Loving parents: Paul Shepherd Sr., Lois (Joe) Davis; Siblings: Josh (Lori) Kuhns, Anthony (Alexis) Kuhns, Jamie (Keith) Crane, Daniel Shepherd, Jason Shepherd, Nathen (Loretta) Shepherd, Olivia Shepherd, and Paula (Larry) Johnson; grandmother, Ethel Gentry, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a score people that called him friend. Paul was proceeded in death by his Step-dad, Kenneth Kuhns; Uncle Dennis Shepherd; Uncle Richard Shepherd; Aunt Brenda Frye; grandparents: George Ballard, Edith Wood, James Wood, and Paul Kuhns. Paul was an installer for Direct TV. Paul grew up in Cedar Lake, IN and was a graduate of Hanover Jr/Sr High School in Cedar Lake. He also attended Clear Water Christian College, and also served with the Alpha Company 795 MPBN, Ft. McClellan, AL. He loved to volunteer with the Humane Society, was a mason and Cub Scout leader with Pack 154. Paul was a devoted family man and loved his wife and children with everything that he was. He loved volunteering as a Boy Scout Leader of his sons group. He loved spending time with his family! When he was younger, he wrestled with the Rick Larsen Wildcat Wrestling Club, and also played with the Cedar Lake Little League. Because of his personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we know that he is in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Paul will truly be missed by everyone that ever came in contact with him. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City and will have a memorial service at a later date.
