Paul was born in Summit NJ and lived in Summit and Springfield, NJ until the age of 8 when the family moved to San Rafael, California. Paul attended the mission school, St. Raphael the ArchAngel and was an altar server at St. Raphael’s Mission church. From a young age Paul flew across the country to visit grandparents in New Jersey and it was not uncommon for him to exit the plane last, always smiling and on his skateboard with a smiling stewardess in tow. He loved animals and brought our cat Pusser home while on his paper route, our cat Tigger soon followed when Paul convinced us she needed a home. Paul and his brother were great partners and friends. He taught Devin how to skateboard and was a great influence on his life. Devin credits Paul with his early love of movies and animation that influenced his career today. The two would often share movie ideas. Paul also loved the ocean. Our family spent many hours on Stinson Beach in Marin County. This led to his becoming an experienced offshore ocean kayaker. Paul moved with the family to Tennessee in 1992, and it was here, living on Norris lake that Paul expanded his love of boating and the outdoors. It was here that Paul discovered his love of carpentry and began the apprenticeship that would lead to his business today. Paul met Melanie 10 years ago and they have been together since. We can still hear Paul’s voice as he lit up a room talking about his latest project. Paul expressed love in all that he did. He was known for his great big bear hugs and telling you that he loved you. Always beautiful, smart and clever, Paul had candor and honesty that drew you to him. We love you Paul and it was our gift to have you for this short time on earth. May God hold you close as you join grandpop, granny, aunt Denise and aunt Kathy.
