Paul Ray Smith

Paul Ray Smith, age 80, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, August 11th at his home in Fountain City. He was born March 1, 1937 to Carl and Nellie Smith in the community of Marbledale. Former member of Lonsdale United Methodist. Retired from the Knox Co. School system at Byington-Solway. Preceded in death by parents; Carl and Nellie Smith; (brother) Leroy, (sister) Mable, and his loving wife of 56 years; Shirley Faye (Barr) Smith. Survived by children, Gary Smith and Scotty Smith; grandchildren, Amanda Smith Adams, Cameron Smith, and Corey Smith and by Sheri Smith and several close friends and their family members. Family and friends will meet 11 am Wednesday at Bookwalter Cemetery for a graveside service. Family will receive friends 3 to 5 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
