Paul “Papaw” Wayne Leek passed away January 15, 2025, at the age of 79. He was a East Knoxville native and resident of South Knoxville where he was known and loved by many in the community for his generosity, kindness and sense of humor.
Paul was never one to sit idle. When he wasn’t running his welding business, C&K Welding, you could find him working on something in his garage, helping someone in the neighborhood, or socializing in the community while out grabbing a bite to eat.
Paul was married to the love of his life, Nancy Leek, for 59 years. He was a loving father and proud grandfather who enjoyed spoiling his grandkids, great grandkids and his beloved dogs.
Although Papaw is gone, the memories he left will live in our hearts forever.
Preceded in joining the Lord: father, Will Ed Leek; mother, Trula Leek; sisters, Dora Shular, Mary Pickell, Jane Hardwick, Anna Holt, and Sandra Sellers.
Survived by: wife Nancy Leek; daughter, Tonya Leek; grandchildren, Casey and Skylar Houser, and Graham and Kelsey Brantley; and great grandchildren, Cason, Bella, Sutton and Bennett.
