Paul Buckner

Paul Buckner, age 72, of Halls past away Saturday, January 26, 2013. Paul was a member and deacon of Grace Baptist Church in Halls Crossroads. He enjoyed farming and hunting. Paul was preceded in death by his father and mother, Hodge and Nell Buckner. He leaves his wife, Argel, of 50 years; one son, Randal: one grandson, Austin; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Freeman and Shirley Buckner of Maryville, Raymond and Connie Buckner of Maynardville; niece, Kathy Needham of Halls; Nephews, Jeff Buckner of Knoxville, Andy Buckner of Maynardville, Brent Buckner of Maynardville, Tim Buckner of Kinsport, and Chris Buckner of New York. He had a host of other relatives consisting of great nieces, great nephews and very special friends too numerous to mention. He will be missed by all. His family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the visits, thoughts and prayers through out his illness. Funeral Service will be 8:00 pm, Monday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Elbert Kitts officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:15 pm, Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel to proceed to Monroe Cemetery, in Maynardville, for an interment service at 2:00 pm. Pallbearers are K.D. Cooke, Ronnie Nubert, Andy Buckner, Brent Buckner, Jeff Buckner and Tim Buckner. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Monday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
