Paul Adkins

Paul Adkins, age 89, of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, February 27th, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was of the Baptist faith, a United States Army Veteran, owner of Tri-County Builders, and secretary and treasurer of the F.O.E. Mr. Adkins is preceded in death by first wife, Margret, sons, Jimmy, Lyle and Ronnie Adkins, daughter, Glenda Murray, step-daughter, Sharon Shelton, and several sisters and brothers. He is survived by wife Carolyn Johnson Adkins, sons, Donald, and wife Nancy, Darrell, and wife Nancy, David, and wife Julie, step-daughters, Linda Johnson, Brenda Dennison, Tim Weaver, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1st, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. The family will meet for Graveside Services at Woodlawn Cemetery on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
