Patricia Kay Rule

Rule, Patricia (Pat) Palmer Pace, age 72, of Halls, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 at U T Hospital. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and retired from The University of Tennessee. Patricia was preceded in death by parents, Joe and Leola Palmer; son, Jonathan Dean Pace. She is survived by brothers, Judson E. Palmer and Bob Palmer; niece, Melissa Palmer Trent; nephews, Tony Palmer, Scot (Lisa) Palmer, Warren (Edwina) Palmer, Wesley (Kelly) Palmer; grand nieces, Jordan Trent, Sydney Palmer; grand nephews, Logan Trent, Andrew Palmer, Paul Palmer, Cole Palmer. Funeral service will be 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. John Holland officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Building Fund, 8201 Hill Road, Knoxville, TN 37938. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for 11:00 am interment. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
