Patricia E. Holland

Patricia E. Holland, age 87 of Knoxville, passed away at home on May 11, 2024, surrounded by her family. Pat was born on June 12, 1936 and was preceded in death by parents Carl and Lillian Elmore. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John, whom she married on March 26, 1960; siblings Sue (Richard), Lois and Carl (Gayle); children Tim (Elizabeth) and Linc (Paula); grandsons Nathan (Karli), Alexander, Kyle (Hannah), and Boone; and great-grandson Wade. Pat graduated from Fulton High School in 1954 and East Tennessee Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church from 1968 until 2024 and was involved in the children’s ministry for several years. Pat was an extraordinary person and a devoted Christian, wife and mother. She loved God’s creation, especially the mountains and the wildflowers. Family will receive friends 4:30-7:00pm Tuesday May 14, 2024, at Salem Baptist Church with service to follow at 7:00pm, Rev. Toby Everett officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15am Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and process to Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00am interment.
