Parker Jay Gilbert

Parker Jay Gilbert born on April 19, 2003 passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2020, at Andersonville Park while swimming in Norris Lake. Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Doyle Gilbert Sr.; maternal grandmother, Loretta Burchell. Left to cherish the memories of his life are his mother, Paula Burchell and father, Doyle Gilbert “Junior”; brother, Nathan Gilbert; papaw, Paul Burchell; mamaw, Vandy Gilbert; aunts and uncles, Hope, Wendy, Mendy, Connie, Brandy, Crystal, Gary, Brad “Cowboy”, Keith, Scott, Jason, Joey; great aunts and great uncles, Ann, Tonya, Bill, Fred, Jimmy; several close cousins, Kim, Steve, Taylor, Gary Jr. “Monster”, Ethan, Michael, Brandon, Bree, Bradley, Austin, Kaylee, Maddy, Mia, Brynslie. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel at 4131 E. Emory Rd Knoxville, TN 37938, from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM. Following the visitation the family and friends will travel in procession to Vineyard Cemetery in Blaine for a graveside service.
