Balltrip, Pamela Rachel – age 60, of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, after a 15-month battle with Ovarian Cancer. Pam was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years and cared for patients at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center for 30 of those years. She loved her patients and strived to treat them like she would want her parents to be treated. Pam was of Jewish ethnicity, but her faith and hope was in Christ. She was a very loving and faithful wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. Survived by husband of 31 years, Gary Balltrip; children, Zachary Balltrip (Brittany), Bradley Balltrip (fiancé Kelcey), and Rachel Balltrip; grandchildren, Jamison Folden, Libby Folden, and Zoe Balltrip; sister, Janice Bebermeyer (Dave); devoted mother-in-law, Madge Balltrip; several sisters and brothers-in-law, many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We would like to thank the nurses on Fort Sanders 8th Floor North and the MSICU for the exceptional and compassionate care that they provided to Pam. In accordance with Pam’s wishes, a private, family graveside service will be held. To honor Pam, please make someone’s day special.
