O.D. Hatmaker

O.D. Hatmaker- age 81 of Knoxville passed away peacefully at his home Friday 11-29-2013. He was a United States Navy Veteran and served during Korean War and a retired employee at X-10 with 30 years service. He was a member of Third Creek Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Loyal and Ina Hatmaker; brothers, Charles and Gilmer Hatmaker; daughter, Karen and Odena Hatmaker. Survived by wife of 57 years, Pearl Hatmaker; son, John David Hatmaker; grandson, John David II; sister-in-law, Wanda Dumas; Several nieces and nephews. Family would like to express their thanks for the loving care given by Dr. Nick P Thornton, Judy Ann, Professional Case Management and Tennova Hospice. Funeral service will be held 11:30am ,Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Chaplain Phil Groos officiating. Interment to follow service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for interment service at 1:00pm. Pallbearers will be John David Hatmaker II, Shar-ron Moore, Michael Tarver, Harold Tarver, Jeff Tarver and Steve Lawson. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm, Monday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
