Norma Sue Gombert

Norma Myers Gombert, age 78, died June 20, 2017 at her home after a long illness. She was a graduate of Halls High School, class of 1957. Preceded in death by parents Thelma Beeler Brock and Millard Brock and also by husband, Wayne P. Myers. Survived by devoted husband Gerald Gombert; daughter Connie (Brian) Pierce, Stepchildren Linda Gombert, Melisa (Doug) Williams, and Jon (Yvonne) Gombert; grandchildren Benjamin (Dana) Pierce, Amanda (Jared) Tinson; Step granddaughter Holly Linkous; great grandchildren Riley, Austin, and Logan Pierce. She also leaves sisters Claudette (Ronald) Hall, Mildred (John) Dalton, and brother R.T. (Heidi) Brock. Special thanks to all CARIS Staff. The family will receive friends 5-7pm at Mynatt’s Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel Friday June 23 with a funeral immediately following, Johnny Beeler officiating.
