Norma Faye Atkins

Norma Faye Thomas Atkins, age 75 of Knoxville, TN, passed away January 12, 2021. She was a 60 + year member of Clear Springs Baptist Church in Corryton,TN, where she was saved at a young age by the grace of Jesus and was an employee of Lakeshore Mental Health for 20 years. Norma enjoyed watching the Lady Vols and loved to take photos with her family. Her favorite thing to do was to take her grandchildren to Dollywood, go to their events, or be anywhere that they were. Preceded in death by parents Dewey and Elendar Thomas, 1 sister, and 1 brother. Survived by husband of 40 years M.L. Atkins, daughter Tracy Adkins (Bobby), grandchildren Felicia, Jonathan, and Ashlyn Adkins, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, 20 nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 4:00-6:00pm Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow at 6:00pm, Rev. Jerry Vittatoe officiating. Masks are required for all services. Family and friends will meet at 9:15am the following Friday, January 22, 2021, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for a 9:30am committal service.
