Nellie Tharp Verrinder

Nellie Tharp (Corum) Verrinder, age 85 of Knoxville, passed away January 20, 2023. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by daughter Kathy Corum (Smith) Crotwell, parents Charlie and Rettie Tharp, sisters Thelma “Pat” Bailey and Zelma “Shorty” Parker, brother Fred “Red Eye” Tharp. Survived by children: Mike (Ann) Corum, Greg (Leah) Corum, H.E. (B.J.) Corum, Cindy (John) Berry, and Chris Corum, grandchildren Greg (Candace) Corum, Mike (Kelly) Smith, Casey (Heather) Corum, Dustin (Stacy) Corum, Jason Day, Chasity (Josh) McCormick, Charity Paris, Brent Berry, Jonathan Corum, Amber Corum, Hannah Simpson, several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, special life-long friend Brenda Jenes. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 am Friday, January 27, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel for a 11:00am funeral service, Dustin Corum and Pastor Bill Berry officiating.
