Nell Lucille Brown Waggoner

Nell L. Waggoner, age 89, of Knoxville, passed away January 10th, 2017. She was a member of Third Baptist Church and retired from Palm Beach Company. She was a very strong willed woman who loved to quilt and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by husband Jim Waggoner, her infant son, parents, Henry and Gertie Brown, granddaughter Crissy Sexton, son-in-law Jack Welch, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by children, Sue Sexton, and husband Don, and Donna Welch, grandchildren, Tracie Thomson, and husband Chris, Greg Welch, and Stephanie Weber, several special grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, step-children Ken Waggoner, and wife Christine, Dorothy Stallard, Wilma Coffey, Jo Ann Seburn Huskey, and Glen Waggoner, and wife Wilma, siblings, Jane Dalton and Jack Brown, and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13th, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. Rev. Ralph Waggoner will be officiating. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, January 14th, 2016 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel at 10:00 a.m. to travel in procession to Burch Cemetery in Claiborne County for an 11:00 a.m. interment service.
