Nelafa C. Wright

Nelafa C. Wright, age 85, of Halls Crossroads, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016. She was a retired Beautician for twenty-five years and a member of Clinch Valley Chapter Order of the Eastern Star of Andersonville for fifty-seven years, and a Worthy Matron in 1958. Preceded in death by husband, Glenn W. Wright; parents, Grace and Curtis Bullock, Sr.; brothers, Earnest Bullock, Troy Bullock, and Curtis Bullock. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Joann Wright; granddaughters, Kellie Kingsbury and husband Edd and Rhoda Tummel and husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Haley and Hannah Kingsbury and Lincoln and Waylon Tummel; and special aunt, Dena Weston. The family would like to express a special thank you to Summit View of Rocky Top. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Larry Woods and Rev. Dr. Tommy Louthan. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Sunday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for 2:00 pm interment.
