Nancy Fields Henderson Leach

Nancy Fields Henderson Leach, age 85, of Knoxville passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017, while surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born August 22, 1932, the daughter of William Edward Fields and Myrtle Kitts Fields of Maynardville, TN. She was an active member of Emory Valley Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 463. She retired from Palm Beach Mill. She was well known with family and friends for her cooking and took pleasure in preparing dinners for everyone to enjoy. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Nancy is preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Robert Henderson; daughter, Janice Henderson Weaver; brothers, Glenn Carson Fields and William Edward Fields; sister, Mary Ruth Fields. She is survived by husband, Johnnie Wade Leach; daughter, Susan Henderson Gregory; Stepsons, Jeff Leach (Michelle) and Greg Leach; grandchildren, Steven George (Dawn); Samantha Gregory Crum (Aaron), Kyle Gregory, Lauren Leach Black (Dustin) and Landon Leach; great-grandchildren, Riley and Zach George, Aiden Gregory, Eli Crum, Dawson and Sawyer Black; extended family, Jason Hoffmeister (Michelle), Colton and Natalie, Kelly Weaver Barger (Rob), Mayson and EllaJane, Adam Weaver (Kayleen), Addy and Garrett; along with a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Service to follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Richard Nicely and Rev. Jeff Leach officiating. Family and friends will meet Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel at 10:15am and proceed to Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for an 11:00am interment.
