Nancy Elizabeth Maples Brown

BROWN, NANCY E. (MAPLES)- age 99, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on March 23rd, 2017. She was a long time member of Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, James W. Brown. She is survived by her sister, Lucy Tidmore; her five children, Jim and Margaret Brown, Wayne and Lisa Brown, Johnny and Carol Brown, Ken and Pam Brown, and Cathy and Tommy Gilliland; along with nine grandchildren; and eleven great- grandchildren. Family will be receiving friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26th, 2017 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. John Holland will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. committal service on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Gov.
