Myrtle Lillie Booker

Myrtle L. Booker, age 87, of Corryton, passed away on September 12, 2018. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Tater Valley. "Mamaw" will be remembered for her smile, her laughter, her selfless devotion to others; she never met a stranger and "loved everybody" that crossed her path. She devoted her life to her family and was known as a woman whose faith never wavered. Mamaw was one of a kind and will be so missed. She is preceded in death by husband Fred Booker, son Gerald Booker, and daughter Sharon Smith. She is survived by grandchildren; Travis Kincaid and wife Jennifer, Keith Booker, Brandi Kincaid, and Krystal Gibson and husband Brent, great-grandchildren; Makenzie and Landon Kincaid, Matthew, Reagan and Ethan Booker, and Skyelin and Emeri Gibson. She also leaves behind special family members; Roger Kincaid, Glenda Hoose, and Jerry Smith, as well as, many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and an immeasurable amount of special friends. The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Friday, September 14th from 5-7pm with a funeral service to follow with Pastor Justin Pratt officiating. Family and Friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 12:45PM on Saturday, September 15th for a 1PM interment. There is no "in lieu of flowers," cause she loved them!
