Myrtle E. West

Myrtle E. West, age 102, passed away March 19, 2016. She was a present member of Bishopville Baptist Church and was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church for many years. She was a loving and devoted mother who will be forever loved and greatly missed by her family. Preceded in death by husband, Obie S. West and daughter, Patricia Ann West. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Jay (Margaret) Lewis, Wilburn (Phyllis) West, Dan (Brenda) West; daughter, Obie Lee (Kenneth) Rhyne; grandchildren, Jeff (Pam) Lewis, Steven (Susan) Lewis, Jim (Rhonda) Rhyne, Wilburn (Melinda) West Jr., Dolores (Steven) Phipps, Scott (Heather) West and Melanie (Scott) Conkle; 12 great grand children and 2 great-great grand children. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Tennova Residential Hospice for their wonderful care. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Thursday at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery for 11am interment service. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Ed Bowne and Rev. Roy Hamock officiating.
