Myron Dennis Penland

Myron “Dennis” Penland, age 67 of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022. He was of the Baptist faith. Fishing was Dennis’s favorite hobby. Preceded in death by his parents, John William Penland and Anna Christine Foust; and brothers, Gary Penland and John Penland. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Pamela Penland; daughter, Amy (Greg) Coker; granddaughter who was his pride and joy, Ava Coker; brother, Bob Penland; sister, Denise Martin; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Covenant Health Hospice for their great care. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City chapel with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm, Chaplain Jenny Ireland officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland South, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932, at 10:45 am on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, for an 11:00 am graveside service.
