Morris Zachary Sr.

Morris F. Zachary, Sr. age 89 of Corryton, passed away suddenly Thursday, March 28, 2024.  He was a member of Corryton Baptist Church, Knox County School Bus operator for 31 years, owner of Zachary Excavating and a farmer all of his life.    Preceded in death by son, Ray Zachary; parents, Edgar and Cecile Zachary; sister and brother-in-law, Eda and Julian Weaver; sister, Christine Young; sister and brother-in-law; Willie Mae and Ogle Weaver; brother, Robert Zachary; brother and sister-in-law; David and Lois Zachary, Paul and Dolly Zachary and Rufus and Sybil Zachary.  Survivors; wife of 66 years, Ruth (Webster) Zachary; son and daughter-in-law, Junior and Kay Zachary; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Michael Young; grandchildren, Justin and MacKenzie Zachary, Christopher and Tiffanie Bradley, Daniel and Haley Bradley and Rachel Zachary; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Monday April 1, 2024 at Clapps Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, Corryton for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service, Dr. Bill Davis officiating.  Family and friends may call at their convenience at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
