Molly Bernice Mccarter

Molly B. McCarter, age 75, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2013. She was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Mary K. Swayney; son, Glen Roy McCarter; son-in-law, Gary Tweed; sister, Betty Bullis; brother, Tom Swayney. She will be leaving her partner of 24 years, Johnny Kitts; daughter, Diana Tweed; 3 sisters, Helen Shelton, Hester Dixon and Mary Mills; 4 grandchildren, Calvin and Anita McCarter, Albert Ivey, Mikey and Heather Ivey, missionaries in Thailand; 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at 8pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Ronnie Kitts and Rev. Norman Smelcer officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel to proceed to Bethel- Lynch Cemetery for interment at 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Trent Ivey, Kenny Mills, Tim Smith, Danny R. Haun & Matthew Lane. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
