Mildred P. Kidd

Mildred P. Kidd, of Knoxville Passed away quietly on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was born March 26, 1921 to the late William Riley and Nannie Alice Tidwell Perkins. She was a member of Bookwalter United Methodist Church. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Kidd Sr, a daughter, Julia Nan Smith and grandson Shawn Smith. Mildred is survived by a son, Kenneth Kidd Jr. and his wife Lynn. Additional survivors include grandsons, Jerrad (Melody) Kidd, Brandon (Jodi) Kidd and Todd (Annie) Kidd, great grandchildren, Rebecca, Landon, Gavin, Lainee and Sidney Kidd. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Tabitha Faulkner and Shelly of Amedysis for their tender loving care of mom. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 25 at 12 noon with the reverend Stephen Doyal officiating at Mynatt Funeral Home 2829 Rennoc Road, Knoxville, (865) 688-2331 and interment will follow in the Lynnhurst Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:30 to service time on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bookwalter United Methodist Church, 4218 Central Avenue Pike, Knoxville, TN 37912 in her name.
