Mildred Margaret Welch

Mildred M. Welch (Summers), age 93, went to be with the Lord October 14, 2013. She was the oldest living member of Texas Valley Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Preceded in death by parents, Cannie and Annie Summers; infant brother; sisters, Hassie Vandergriff, Jessie Ridenour, Mary Daniels. Survived by sons, Lawrence (Lorena) Welch, John (Georgia) Welch; daughter, Ruth (Don) Lauderdale; son, Jim (Teresa) Watson; grandchildren, David Jr., William, Johnny, Kristie, Tim, Angie, Aria, Cole; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brothers, Paul and Robert Summers; sister, Betty Breeden; caretakers, Sue and Jennifer; several nieces, nephews and a host of other loved ones. Funeral service 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Leonard Goin officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 am Friday at the funeral home and proceed to Texas Valley Baptist Church Cemetery for 11:00 am interment. Grandsons and great grandsons will be pallbearers. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
