Mildred Yoder Weaver, Knoxville, TN age 85, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 6, 2015, surrounded with loving family and friends. Mildred worked with the University of Tennessee Student Health Center for over 25 years. She loved camping, fishing, hiking, trips to Cherokee, NC, embraced and loved life and family. Mildred always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. Preceded in death by parents Colonel and Sadie Yoder; daughters, Betty Esmond and Brenda Irwin; son Gene Weaver; daughter-in-law Michelle Weaver; grandsons, Barney, Bobby, and Joe Irwin; several brothers and sisters. Survived by her loving, devoted husband and love of her life of 69 years Paul Weaver; daughter Vickie Wright; sons-in-law Richard Wright, Tom Esmond, and Barney Irwin; grandchildren, Susan and Tony Ownby, Lee and Tammi Wolfenbarger, Christina Wright, Jonathan and Tiffanie Wright, and Dustin Weaver; 8 great- grandchildren; sister Kathleen Mink; sisters-in-law Faye Reynolds, Gail Schultz, Zella Perry, and Chalmer Weaver; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mildred was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. The family would like to express their thanks and deepest gratitude to the staff at L&L in Knoxville. Service will be 7pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Toby Everett officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Friday at Union Primitive Cemetery for 11am interment. Family will receive friends 5-7pm Thursday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
