Mildred Jane Cole Killion, age 73, of Halls passed away, Friday, October 12, 2012 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. She was born in New Tazewell, TN. She is a member of Emory Pike American Christian Church. Jane was a devoted wife, mother an grandmother. She worked at Standard Knitting Mills and various medical offices in Knox County. Mrs. Killion was preceded in death by her parents, Quentin and Jessie Neely Cole, mother in law, Mossie V. Killion, sister and brother in law, Fred and Betty Smith. Mrs. Killion is survived by her loving and devoted husband of thirty years, J.D. Killion, son and wife, Larry and Erika Neely, step daughter, Sheila Stone, grandchildren, Heidi and Joshua Neely, step grandchildren, Jeremy Stone, Ashley Proaps and Jason Stone, great grandchildren, Trey, Aiden and Kyndal. Brother, Bobby (Peggy) Cole, sister, Darlene (Frank) Wright, sister in law, Joyce (Frank) Presby, several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the First Floor Physicians and Staff of Physicians Regional Medical Center for their loving care and support as well as North Knox Dialysis Center. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Service, 5:00 p.m., Sunday, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Dallas Harrell and Rev. L.B. Herrell officiating. family and friends will meet, 12:45 p.m., Monday, Emory Pike American Christian Church Cemetery for interment at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers: Joshua Neely, David Cole, Jeremy Stone, Jason Stone, Clint Wright and Donald Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabe Wright and Byron Cole. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
