Mildred Barnes Lail

Mildred Barnes Lail passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021. She was 95 years old. She was proceeded by father Rev. R.C. Barnes and mother Clora S. Barnes, sons Garry D. Lail, Barry S. Lail and half-brother Rev. Paul Mayfield and wife Ruby Mayfield, ex-husband Don H. Lail, sister Jane Scott and brother Robert (Bob) Barnes. Survived by granddaughter Sherry R. Lail, grandsons Robert Don Lail, Matthew Zane Lee, 4 great-grandchildren, brother Ernest Barnes, Sister-in-law Barbara Barnes, several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Pat Perkins, Ashely Dunn, and Mary Wilson. She was very active in the Order of Eastern Star for thirty years, and held many offices. She traveled to many states for OES meetings. She loved music and played the piano and played for many area churches. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00pm funeral service, Chaplain Phillip Groos officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45pm Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Roseberry Cemetery for a 2:00pm graveside service. Online condolences may be expressed at mynattfh.com
