Michelle Terri Black

Michelle Black of Knoxville, TN, age 60, was called home by her heavenly father, and passed away peacefully on  Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Michelle was reunited with her mother Amelia Apple; Brothers, Donald Apple Jr. and Leonard Apple; Sister, Robin Apple Jones; Daughter, Tiffany Black; Grandson, Matthew Hudson; Mother in-law Elizabeth Black; Brother in-laws, Jerry, Carson, Carlos, Clifton and Arvin Black. Michelle was a devoted wife, mother, sister, mamaw, nini and friend. Michelle was blessed with 43 years of marriage to the love of her life, Mike Black.Their unwavering love and partnership were the foundation of her life. Together they built a family with laughter and cherished memories. Michelle was the proud mother to Daniel (Whitney), Christina, who was the light of her life. Her joy then multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Heaven and Isaiah Hudson, Timothy Hall, Selena, Spencer, Skylar, Samuel, Isaac and Bennett Black, Ricky and Nathan Haddix. Michelle is survived by her sister, Diane Hewitt (Sam); Brother, Mike Apple (Pat); Sister in-law, Sue Black Lee (Donnie). She had several nieces and nephews. Michelle will be missed and loved forever. There will be a call at convenience on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 12:00PM to 5:00PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.
