Michael Wayne Corum

Michael W. Corum Sr., age 60, of Jasper Georgia, formerly of Corryton, passed away April 12, 2016 at Wellstar North Fulton Regional Hospital. Preceded in death by parents A.G. and Helen Knight Corum. Survived by wife Karen Day Corum; son, Michael (Carmen) Corum; granddaughter Mackenzie Corum; sister Sue Torres-Painter; brother Sonny (Nancy) Corum; many special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with service to follow, Rev. Ritchie Turner and Dr. Jason Groe officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:30am Saturday and process to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11am interment service. Serving as pallbearers will be: Kenny Corum, Doug Corum, Tim Corum, Brent Ledgerwood, David Sobieraj, Cameron Faddis, and Dale Hudson.
