Michael Ray Neal

Michael “Mike” Ray Neal, age 68, of Seymour passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and retired after 30 years of service from the University of TN Campus, Engineering Department. He was U.S. Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam Conflict. He loved fishing, golf, his dogs, and his grandkids. He is preceded in death by beloved mother, Mary Neal. Sister; Louna Bradley. He is survived by loving wife of 50 years Charlene Neal. Sons; Scott (Jamie) Neal, and Shane Neal. Grandchildren, Briana Neal, Brentley Neal, Alexis Staley, Jayden Free, and Parker Free, Fur babies, Diva and B.J. Sister; Ann Brown, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and Friends will meet at 9:45am Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at East TN Veteran Cemetery (John Sevier) for a 10am graveside service. Rev. Terry Barnwell officiating with full military honors.
