Michael Parker Armstrong

Michael Parker Armstrong, age 68, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017. He retired with 41 years of service from the city of Knoxville. He enjoyed fishing and loved his family. He will be missed dearly and was loved by many friends and family. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Margaret and Patrick Armstrong, sisters Kaye Armstrong and Patricia Vandergriff, all of Knoxville. Mr. Armstrong is survived by his wife Vicki Armstrong, daughter Buffy Josey (Roy) all of Knoxville, and daughter Stacy Ingle (Doug) of Acworth, Georgia. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Ansley and Andrew Ingle of Acworth, Georgia and Michael Armstrong and Recca Hayes, of Knoxville. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Saturday July 15th with the service to follow at 7pm, officiated by Rev. Terry Gaylor. Family and friends will meet at 1:15pm Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the funeral home to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 2pm graveside service.
