Michael L. Debusk

Michael L. DeBusk, age 75, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022. Michael served as a attorney in Fountain City for almost 40 years. He was a beloved father, friend, and counselor to all who knew him. He is preceded in death by father, Albert DeBusk; mother, Inez DeBusk; sister, Regina Anderson. He is survived by son, Michael J. DeBusk (Ginger); daughter, Daniela Laws (R.A.); grandchildren, Elijah, Ethan and Elizabeth DeBusk, and Seth and Emily Laws; siblings, Tommy DeBusk (Kathy), Billie K. Huff; nephew, Bill Hickman (Heather); dearest friend, Phyllis Faulkner (Russ); several other nieces, nephews, and friends. A call of convenience will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 10:00am until 5:00pm. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday August 15, 2022, from 5:00pm until time of Celebration of Life Service at 6:30pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 12:30pm at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Gov. John Sevier Hwy.
