Michael Edward Doane

Michael E. Doane, age 62 of Fountain City passed away suddenly Monday, March 1, 2021 at UT Medical Center. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was retired from the University of Tennessee Campus Maintenance Dept. He loved to go camping with his family and friends. Preceded in death by wife Cathy, Father, Clarence Doane, mother-in-law Jean Overholt, step father, Homer Daniels and sister in law Teresa Grubb. Survivors, Michael A. (Wendy) Doane and Donnie (Ginger) Doane. Grandchildren: Seirra, Madisyn, Jacob, Bryson, Mark, Ashley. Great Grandchildren: Landon, Liam, Addilynn, Madilynn, DaShawn. Mother, Jeanette Daniels. Brother, DeWayne Doane. Nieces and nephews Kenny, Howard, Mike and Karen. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday, March 5, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service, Reverend David Knight officiating.
