Michael Dean Baxter

Michael Dean Baxter passed away June 4, 2017. “Mike was a special member of the WVLT family; he was a man behind the scenes in creative services. You never saw his face on the air but you saw plenty of his work.” Mike enjoyed coaching youth basketball. He loved the nature and the outdoors. Most importantly and above all, Mike loved his wife and children. Preceded in death by father, Dean Baxter. Left to cherish his memory are loving wife, Linda Baxter; children, Taylor Baxter and Spencer Baxter; mother, Virginia Baxter; brothers, Joe Baxter and Tim Baxter; special friends Kevin and Susan Wyatt and Wayne and Sherrie Finstad. The family will receive friends 5-7PM Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with Celebration of Life Service to follow.
