Knoxville

Emblem

In loving memory of Michael Samuel Angelo, February 27, 1985 to July 26,2024, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 38. He was the husband to Amanda (Whitehurst) Angelo; father of Isaiah Angelo (18) and Zeke Angelo (15), and a proud Air Force veteran. Michael's life was filled with challenges, but he loved his sons deeply and always strived to make them proud.  Born in California, Michael moved with his parents and brothers to Tennessee during his childhood. He graduated from Seymour High School and soon after enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving with honor and distinction for 11 years and achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. His dedication to his country was matched by his commitment to his family.  After returning to Knoxville, TN in 2013, Michael built a home and began to raise his two sons. Despite facing personal struggles, he focused on providing for Isaiah and Zeke, ensuring they had everything they needed. His natural talent for technology and his career as an IT specialist and electrician showcased his adaptability and resilience.  Michael’s impact extended beyond his military service. He was known for his kindness, humor, and unwavering support within his community of family and friends. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met, everywhere he went. As Zeke prepares to finish high school and Isaiah begins his college journey, their father's love and guidance will continue to inspire them.  Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Hwy) for a 2:00 p.m. committal service with full military honors provided by the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.  Michael’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, forever cherished for the warmth, laughter, and love he shared with those fortunate enough to call him father and friend.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
