Melvin Jinkins

Melvin Jinkins born July 27, 1939 went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2019. A longtime member of Clear Springs Baptist Church, veteran of the US Army and a Master Mason. Melvin was a loving husband, father, Grandude and friend. He was preceded in death by devoted wife Judy; mother Ada; father Rube; brothers Kenneth and Lloyd; sisters Lois, Joyce, and Charlene. Survived by daughter Gina and husband Rick; son Tim and wife Stephanie; grandkids Cody, Josh and wife Cassy, Lindsey and husband Cody, Dalton, Kent and wife Marina, Montana and husband Kyle; Great Grandkids Izabella, Fletcher, Samantha, and Anastasia. Receiving of friends Monday, January 14, 2018 from 5-7pm, service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Dr. Jerry Vittatoe officiating. Melvin will be buried with full military honors at Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, January 15, at 11:00 AM.
