Melissa Wellman, age 40 of Maynardville, passed away on October 12, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents James and Janice Payne, brother Donald Payne and sister, Christy Payne. Survivors include her husband Ken Wellman, sons: Dillon Tyler Payne-Brock and Cory Matthew Payne; daughters: Tiffany Amber Payne and Brittany Danielle Payne; grandson Dacyn Payne; brothers: Frankie (Denise) Payne and Jimmy (Brandi) Payne; sisters: Patricia (Larry) Payne and Connie (Bill) Colwell; special niece Monica, along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 6-8 pm in the chapel of Mynatt Funeral home, Fountain City. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Jason Dyer, officiating. Friends and family will meet on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 1:45 pm at Byrd’s Chapel Cemetery for a 2:00 pm graveside service. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.mynattfh.com
