Vandergriff, Melanie Braden – age 54, of Halls Crossroads, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 12, 2020. Preceded in death by father, Troy Braden, Jr., husband, Harold Vandergriff. Survived by mother, Helen (Elbert) Kitts, daughters Kristy Carmack, SunShine (John) Hastings, son Cody (Corinna) Vandergriff, grandchildren Austin & Justice Hastings & Lyra Vandergriff, brother Jeff Braden, several nieces and nephews, special friend ‘kidney sister’ Candi Handshoe. She was a member of Warwick Chapel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, February 14, 2020 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Ray Headrick and Rev. Stewart Skeen officiating.
