Maynard Lee Lowery

Maynard Lee Lowery, age 85 of Andersonville, went to be with his Father and the loved ones that have gone on before him. He was a long-time standing member of First Baptist Church of Andersonville, and loved his church family and friends dearly. Maynard loved being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and mowing the grass. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Maynard was the former owner of Halls Service Center along with his sons and was very proud of it. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Lowery and Roy Lowery; brother, Jim Lowery; grandson, Wally Jr. Lowery. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Norma “Jane” Lowery; children, Wallace Lowery, Timothy (Diana) Lowery, and David (Deanna) Lowery; grandchildren, Matthew (Tabbatha) Lowery, Justin (Carolyn) Lowery, Katie (Austin) Tallant, Amanda (David) Webb, Ashley (Joshua) Matthews, and DeLaney Lowery; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00pm on Friday, November 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Andersonville, with funeral service to follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Steve Lakin officiating.
