Maynard Bradley Tindell, age 72, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2016, surrounded by the love and comfort of his daughters. Maynard was a very loving man, and touched so many lives. His courage and strength in his fight with cancer superseded everyone's expectations. But with his determination and stubbornness, he fought it like the hero he was and will always be. He was very passionate about his family, loved bluegrass music, and enjoyed afternoons at the pond with his favorite fishing buddy, his grandson Corey. And let's not forget a little revving and black smoking, from his cummins diesel. He absolutely loved that. Preceded In death by parents, Arthur and Ellen Tindell, brother Frank Tindell, special friend and mother of his children, Sandra Tindell. He is survived by daughters, Angie Tindell and friend Jimmy, Kristi Mallicote and husband David, grandson Corey Mallicote, great-granddaughter Makynna Mallicote, also known as "Paps Little Angel", and long time buddy Zack Everett. Brothers and sisters Dot Maples and husband Jack, AC Tindell and wife Carolyn, Linda Jones and husband Dallas, Malcolm Tindell and wife Rita, step-mother, Judy Tindell, half-brothers, Steve Tindell and Jim Tindell. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, all who were very dear to him.
